This website is operated by Augur LLC (“Augur”, “we”, “us”), a limited liability company organised in the State of Wyoming, United States. This policy explains how we handle information in connection with this website, available at augurdev.com.

This policy covers this website only. Our applications have their own privacy policies, because they handle different information in different ways:

03 Information we collect on this site

No cookies, no analytics, no trackers

This site is a set of static files. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage, does not run analytics or advertising scripts, and does not embed content, fonts or scripts from third-party servers. Nothing on this site builds a profile of you or follows you to other sites.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, the server that delivers these pages may automatically record standard technical information for each request — typically IP address, date and time, the page requested, referring page, and browser user-agent string. These logs exist so the site can be operated securely and reliably, including diagnosing errors and identifying abuse. They are generated and retained by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule and are not used to identify individual visitors or combined with any other data by us.

Email you send us

If you write to us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to include in it. We use that information only to read and reply, and we keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful for that purpose or for our records.

04 How we use information

We use the limited information described above only to:

• deliver and operate this website;
• keep the site secure and diagnose technical problems;
• respond to messages you send us; and
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not use this information for advertising or automated decision-making.

05 What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information. We never have.
• We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
• We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

06 Who else touches this data

We use service providers to operate the business. In connection with this website, those are limited to our web hosting provider (which processes the server logs described above) and our email provider (which handles messages you send us). These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of Augur LLC or others.

07 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Residents of California, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, among others, have rights of this kind.

Because this website collects so little, in most cases the only information we hold about a visitor is email correspondence. To make a request, write to contact@augurdev.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

08 International visitors

Augur LLC is based in the United States, and information described in this policy is processed there. If you access this site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in a country whose data protection laws may differ from those of your own.

09 Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10 Security

This site is served over HTTPS and applies a strict content security policy. No system is perfectly secure, but we hold very little, which is itself the strongest protection we can offer.

11 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the revised version here and update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried.
